2018 Meijer Great Choices Student Film Festival is open to all Michigan High School Students - more than $21,000 in prizes awarded to 60 high school students

Gear Up For the 2018 Meijer Great Choices Film Festival. PLEASE NOTE: The registration deadline has been extended to Monday, February 12th. 

ENTER EARLY AND SAVE $5 off the registration fee! Register and upload your PSA by Friday, January 19th and pay only $5 for your registration (payment must be postmarked by January 19th to qualify). 

Michigan high school students are invited to participate in The Meijer Great Choices Student Film Festival where more then $21,000 in cash prizes are awarded to student film makers from throughout the state. An Awards Event will be held on Saturday June 2nd, 2018 hosted at The Van Singel Fine Arts Center in Byron Center. 

Students from throughout the state are encouraged to submit a :30 public service announcement video promoting positive choices in the areas of Character Education, Promoting Healthy Living, and Celebrating Diversity. 

Cash awards are in the form of gift cards to Meijer. First place winners receive $1,500, second place $1,000 and third place finalists receive $500. The 42 runners up (fourth through tenth place) will get a gift card for $75. All of the finalists in attendance at the awards event will also receive a commemorative gift.

In the fall of 2018 the winning PSA's in each category will be reproduced on DVDs and distributed to schools across the state as tools for their Character Education, Health Education and Diversity programs.
